“Thank you so much for your votes and suggestions; we’ve had an overwhelming response of very worthwhile projects. We will spend the next week reviewing them and contact you shortly if you have made a suggestion.
Thanks again, we look forward working on a great project!”

Can we help you, your community or your chosen charity?
Mountjoy are looking for a worthwhile project to make their challenge. We want your ideas for projects and your reasons for nominating them. The only rules are that the project must be on the Isle of Wight and worthwhile. There are no other rules; you can be a charity, individual, organisation or company.
Listed below there are four categories to choose from.
The successful project will be one that is suggested in the category that polls the highest (you can only vote once but you can forward the link to as many people as you like). Mountjoy will take the suggestions from the winning poll and make it their challenge to deliver the most deserving project in March 2008.
We will do this by using our collective skills, from plumbing to painting and carpentry to admin. With teamwork and lots of good will we know we can achieve something amazing and meaningful for someone who really needs our help!!
We are looking for “Mountjoy—The Challenge!” so vote to your left choosing one of the following categories:
1) In the Community (for example taking a project in the community, using our skills to renovate or improve something)
2) Looking after the Environment (projects that might improve or safeguarding the environment)
3) Mountjoy against crime (a project that we could carry out to reduce crime in an area)
4) Helping our Children (restoring a playground or making good a disused school classroom).
Poll Closing Date: Monday 3rd March 2008.
If you don’t have a suggestion, vote anyway as your vote will count towards the category poll!
Once voted for your project area, why not complete the form below with your suggestion for our next community proiject. 4th March 2008 - SUGGESTIONS ENTRY FORM NOW CLOSED
